For us at Degeler Consulting e.U., Bruno-Marek-Allee 5/10/6, 1020 Vienna, Austria, the protection of your personal data is essential. We comply with applicable data protection law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG).

Processing of personal data
We process personal data when you contact us (via website forms, email, social media), when we maintain you in our CRM, when you interact with our social media channels, and when you visit this website (server logs and technically necessary cookies only). The legal basis is contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), depending on the purpose.
Reach measurement (anonymized, no cookies)
We use no third-party analytics: no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no commercial trackers, no browser fingerprinting. Each page loads a 1×1 pixel from our own server at Hetzner in Germany. The server records the page view and immediately discards your IP address after processing. In its place we store a daily-rotated cryptographic hash that lets us count repeat visits within one day but is mathematically unlinkable across days. Even if someone later obtained both your IP and our records, they could not reconstruct your visit history. Bot traffic, scanner probes and visitors with Do-Not-Track set are discarded. No cookies, no device IDs, no session tracking. We additionally record a small set of CTA clicks (e.g. book_header when a booking button is pressed, indicating which button it was) using the exact same anonymisation. The booking button leads to our own self-hosted booking system at meet.degeler.consulting. The resulting anonymized records (timestamp, URL, language, referrer domain, browser class, daily-rotated visitor hash, optional event token) are synced once daily to our source code repository on GitHub for statistical evaluation. Since IPs are already discarded on the German server, no personal data leaves the EU. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in privacy-preserving reach measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies
This website sets no first-party cookies. No tracking, analytics or marketing cookies. When you interact with the embedded MailerLite newsletter form, that provider may set its own cookies inside its iframe context. Booking is not embedded: it opens our own booking system at meet.degeler.consulting in a new tab. See the privacy policies linked above for details.
