A project from the DC portfolio · Comilo
One animal, one record.
Vaccinations, deworming, medication, weight and findings for one animal currently live on three pieces of paper, in two apps and in one person’s head. Comilo puts them in one place and turns them into a view someone else can open when the animal stays with them for a few days.
What it's about
Comilo collects what belongs to a pet: vaccinations with the next due date, deworming, medication with its effects and side effects, weight across the years, findings and invoices, the pet passport as a photo. Not spread across a folder, a chat history and someone’s memory, but one record per animal.
The second part is care. Whoever hands over an animal today sends a long message afterwards: what gets fed when, which tablet is due on Thursday, where the practice is and who is on call at night. In Comilo that is its own view for the length of the stay. It shows exactly those things and nothing else. Invoices, findings and the medical history stay with the owner.
Comilo is being built at Degeler Consulting by two people: Felix builds, and the co-founder owns brand, content and the line to the practices. We take clinical advice from a small-animal practice. Responsibility for what the app says stays with us, and that is exactly why Comilo stops where others keep going: no diagnosis, no dosage advice. What is in the record comes from the pet passport and from the practice.
As of September 2026 the core is built and running, and we are preparing the first test round. We are looking for dog and cat owners who will enter their own animal and tell us what is missing.
Who it's built for
People with a dog or a cat who end up guessing at the vet when the last vaccination was.
Households where several people look after the same animal and everyone has a different version of the facts.
Anyone who regularly hands their animal over to a sitter, a neighbour or family.
Owners of a chronically ill animal, where medication, weight and findings belong together across years.
Why it works
The pet passport, photographed
You photograph the pet passport, the app reads out the microchip number and the vaccinations and puts them in front of you as a proposal. Only what you confirm is taken over. A microchip number that is one digit off looks perfectly fine and only fails at the border.
Due dates that work themselves out
The next rabies shot follows from the last one, including the 21-day waiting period before travel. Deworming and prophylaxis run on their own rhythm. The app does that maths instead of making you type in dates.
A view built for the sitter
Whoever takes the animal sees the food, the medication due in that period and the practice including out-of-hours care. And nothing else. Access ends when the stay ends.
What Comilo does not do
No diagnosis, no dosage advice, no prediction. The app records what happened and works out what follows from it. The judgement stays with the practice. The cards on common conditions explain what a finding means, not what your animal has.
Want to test it?
Comilo goes to a small group of dog and cat owners first. You get access as soon as the test round opens, and we listen to what is missing. One mail when it starts. Nothing else.
We will only write to you about Comilo. The Degeler Consulting newsletter is separate, and one mail to us is enough to come off the list again.
Who builds this with us
Every project has a different constellation. These are the people behind this one.
Comilo
Vaccinations, deworming, medication and findings for one pet in one place. Including everyone who helps look after it.

We listen
30 minutes about your project. No pitches, no pressure.

You decide
Within a week you have an assessment and, if it fits, a proposal for the goal-setting workshop. Both are useful internally either way.
